INTERNATIONAL SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR (Ref. WM.ISMM09)

The International Sales and Marketing Manager is part of the MECISAF* Headquarters based in Istanbul and is responsible to improve the market position and lead to sustainable growth of sales and market share. Analyze current distribution channels and develop together with the sales organization concepts for improvement. Further ensure successful product introduction, develop yearly budget plans, regular budget reviews and counter measurements.

*Middle East, CIS, Asia and Africa

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in related sciences
  • A strong backround in pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing with more than 10 years of countrywide management experience
  • Experience in building and managing multiple brands and complex product ranges
  • Experience in building and delivering long term strategic sales & marketing plans

MEDICAL DIRECTOR (Ref. WM.MM09)

Responsible for directing all functions of assigned programs within the therapeutic areas, including global medical support of licensed products, clinical development, new product approvals, medical affairs, and evaluation of product complaints that have clinical significance. Incumbent will provide medical and technical perspective to the business development function in their efforts to identify potentially promising partnering opportunities. Shares medical/clinical expertise with his/her counterparts in other functional areas such as marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, R&D, and Legal from the U.K. and abroad. The incumbent will: contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s long and short-term business strategies to optimize markets for future and current products and development of rational strategic plans for profiling and indication expansion of licensed products. Provide input into clinical research strategy and conduct clinical trials for unlicensed products and optimize new product development for successful launch into the marketplace. Evaluate and report on issues and adverse events related to licensed products safety and efficacy, as well as strategies and activities associated with technical support for company products in the global clinical market. Function as the medical/clinical representative at global regulatory body meetings that pertain to product development activities for which the incumbent has responsibility. Provide medical and scientific direction on clinical matters affecting the preparation and submission of timely and sound information to the regulatory authorities with product development and marketing functions to define the requirements and specifications for new products. Specific medical director approvals are required for product design requirements, clinical appropriateness review, label copy, and promotional (advertising) material Review all product complaints that have resulted in adverse clinical consequences or could potentially have resulted in adverse clinical consequences to determine if corrective actions are necessary. Recommend corrective actions. Maintain knowledge base as to developments and trends in medical sciences. Contribute to the training, leadership and continuing education for all departmental staff. Approve all new product design and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor degree from reputable universities
  • Min. 3 years of practical experience in pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Manager
  • Functional experience in most phases of clinical research and in implementation / management of clinical programs
  • Experience in marketing and/or sales beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Works effectively with team members to accomplish goals whilst respecting the needs of others and displaying integrity in dealing with team members
  • Scientific minded personality with record of successful interaction with sales, product & marketing management teams, preferably in multicultural environments
  • Ability to meet goals by effective time management, priority setting, task planning and personal influence whilst achieving quality results
  • Knowledge and understanding of worldwide regulational requirements
  • Experience in medical managing multiple brands and complex product ranges
  • Proven ability of training sales teams
