COMPOSITION

Each capsule contains:
150 mg of ferric sulfate
0.5 mg of folic acid
10 mcg of cyanocobalamin
100 mg of ascorbic acid

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS

- Treatment and prophylaxis of iron-deficient anemia associated with chronic hemorrhages (GIT bleeding, hemorrhage from urinary bladder, hemorrhoidal bleeding, menorrhagia and metrorrhagia), and also associated with chronic alcoholism, infectious diseases, adsministration of anticonvulsants and peroral contraceptives;
- Ionizing radiation, long-term hemodialysis;
- Treatment and prophylaxis of anemia, appearing during pregnancy, lactation and puerperal period.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Anemia, not associated with iron deficit (hemolytic anemia, megaloblastic anemia, associated with isolated deficit of vitamin B12), an increased iron level in a human body (hemosiderosis), abnormality of mechanisms of iron utilization (anemia, caused by plumbism, sideroachrestic anemia).

ADVERSE EFFECTS

Effects from GIT: seldom – epigastric pains, diarrhea, constipations, in some cases – allergic reactions.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Mild and moderate anemia: 1 capsule 1-2 times daily; severe anemia: 2 capsule 2 times a day.
The course of treatment is 1-2 months.
Administer Fersinol capsules after meal.
